January 11: Ten-months!

January 11, 2010 · Leave a Comment

Today, I turned 10-months old!  My second tooth came in too!

I have been learning how to chew and feed myself, so dinner time takes a little longer and is a little messier.

My daily routine makes the day more predictable for Mommy and Daddy.  I think they are much more relaxed now.  They are particularly grateful that I sleep from 8:30pm to 7:00 am every day!

Although my first tooth came out on December 11, 2009, Mommy was not able to take a picture of it until now.

Christmas Celebration at Chino

December 26, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I celebrated Christmas with the rest of the family at Papa and Grammy’s house.  There were 17 of us!  I had a lot of “first” experiences during these few hours.

I met Auntie Kathy for the "first" time...

... I felt and scratched Papa's beard up-close for the "first" time...

... I got my "first" stocking from Grammy...

... for the "first" time, I saw Uncle Jim, Uncle Jason and Uncle Gary with Daddy cooking and cleaning in the kitchen...

... while Auntie Trisha, Auntie Wendy, Auntie Kathy and Mommy relaxed for the "first" time during the holidays...

... Mommy helped me unwrapped my "first" cellphone, my "first" puzzles, and other books, toys and clothes...

... and Daddy made sure he used the camcorder to document my "first" Christmas.

Boxing Day (Day after Christmas) Celebration

December 26, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Mommy celebrated Boxing Day (British holiday celebrated on December 26, the day after Christmas) throughout her childhood, so I carried on the tradition.  Daddy came home from work in the morning, and he helped me opened more Christmas presents on this special day.

We got candy, Magic Bullet (which Daddy will use to make me “big girl” food!), and more clothes!

Christmas Eve Dinner

December 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Auntie Janice and Uncle Ed invited us to their house for Christmas Eve dinner.  We ordered a holiday turkey dinner from Claim Jumpers.  The food was yummy, and I was able to play with Cousins Ella and Elyse.

Grandpa Gung-Gung held me up to show me the Christmas tree ornaments.  They were so shiny and pretty.  I couldn’t keep my eyes off the sparkling balls.

Santa must have known that I would show up at Auntie Janice’s house.  He left me presents there too!  I got more toys and clothes.  It was so much fun ripping paper apart!

Christmas Eve Celebration with Daddy and Mommy

December 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Since Daddy has to work on Christmas Day, we decided to celebrate a day early.  This is my first Christmas, and Mommy and Daddy made sure I had a memorable day!  As if on cue, I woke up extra early for the big day.  After breakfast, and while I’m still in pajamas, Daddy took me downstairs to open Christmas presents.

Whoa... the presents are bigger than me!

Under the watchful eye of my 4-legged brother Jesse, I ripped open all the presents by myself!

I got CD, toys, books, clothes and sunglasses!  Thanks Santa for all my gifts!  I spent the rest of the day playing with my new toys, taking long naps, and hanging out with my cousins Ella and Elyse.
